The Western Cape is without a doubt the most beautiful, diverse and loved area of South Africa. It includes semi-arid plains, mountains ranges, grasslands and even temperate rainforest areas. It boasts one of the world’s richest diversity of flowers and is a very popular international tourist destination.
I was fortunate enough to grow up in the Western Cape and I’ve seen and photographed almost every corner of it. I learned the ropes of landscape photography on it’s many beautiful beaches and it’s without a doubt SA’s landscape hotspot. While I have many great photos of this province, the downside is that I have comparatively little of the rest of the country.
Whether you’re from The Cape, have been to The Cape, are planning a trip to The Cape or you’re just browsing around, I hope that you’ll enjoy this gallery and the beauty of the place I call home.
I run frequent workshops and tours to South Africa’s top seascape destination such as Hole in the Wall, Arniston, Kogelbay and Cape Town. These workshops usually sell out instantly, so booking early is crucial in securing a spot. Please get in touch to find out about upcoming tours.
